Getting through that autumn, winter blues

Not everybody likes the sudden change in temperature. The shorter darker days and weeks filled with rain. While I personally love the arrival of autumn I understand that some might find it hard. So here is a list of things you can do when you've got the autumn, winter blues.

1) Listen to Lullatone (especially their autumn and winter albums!) 

2) Get into making a warm and delicious drink for yourself every afternoon (chai tea, hazelnut coffee, pumpkin spiced drinks etc.) 
3) Go outside! Even when it is rainy! It might not seem like typical 'let's spend the day outside'-weather, rain is very relaxing. So grab your umbrella and head out. 
4) Walk! Walk to your favourite cafĂ© and stay for a while. Take a book to read or a notebook to scribble in. 
5) Watch movies. Autumn and winter are the perfect time to stay inside and just relax while watching your favourite films or series in bed. 
6) Turn on those fairy lights and candles. Oh those little things that make life beautiful- don't underestimate them! A candle that smells like cinnamon can change a whole lot on a rainy night. 
7) Scarf, oversized sweaters, fluffy socks and gloves. Don't forget to stay warm!
